The Makita DBN640Z 18V LXT Brushless 2-1/2 in. Metal Connector Nailer is built to deliver pneumatic-like driving performance with the convenience of cordless operation. Its Air Spring driving system provides a feel similar to a pneumatic nailer, while the brushless motor supports efficient firing into dense engineered lumber.

This tool drives 1-1/2 in. to 2-1/2 in. nails with 0.131 in. to 0.162 in. shank diameter and 30° to 35° collation angle. A slim nose design helps improve accuracy for corner nailing, while the anti-dry fire mechanism helps prevent missed shots and protect the work surface.

Designed for jobsite productivity, the DBN640Z can drive up to 1,000 nails on a single charge and includes an integrated adjustment dial for easy driving depth control. It also features a built-in LED light, anti-slip nose tip, nail quantity viewing window, and an ergonomically designed rubberized soft grip handle.
